If you would like students to revisit any of their already-completed assignments, you can return their assignments for a revision from the Rubric Score or Quick Score pages.
Return for Revision from the Rubric Score
- Navigate to the Classes page of ThinkCERCA.
- Select the class with the assignment you would like to return for revision.
- From the list of assignments on the class page, select the assignment you would like to return for revision.
- You will be taken to an assignment page with a table of student names. Under the “Writing” column, click the blue “Give Feedback” link.
- You will be prompted to choose a Rubric Score or Quick Score. Select “Rubric Score.”
- You will be taken to the Rubric page. At the Confirm step of the Rubric is a button labeled “Return for Revision.” Select the button. (You may also provide additional feedback or assign a growth focus before returning the assignment for revision.)
- The assignment has now been returned to the student for revision. In the table of assignments, the status of the student’s assignment will be listed as “Needs Revision.”
Return for Revision from the Quick Score
- Navigate to the Classes page of ThinkCERCA.
- Select the class with the assignment you would like to return for revision.
- From the list of assignments on the class page, select the assignment you would like to return for revision.
- You will be taken to an assignment page with a table of student names. Under the “Writing” column, click the blue “Give Feedback” link.
- You will be prompted to choose a Rubric Score or Quick Score. Select “Quick Score.”
- You may be prompted to select a 4-point or 5-point rubric. Select the rubric you would like to use.
- You will be taken to the Quick Score page. At the bottom of the Quick Score is a button labeled “Return for Revision.” Select the button. (You may also provide additional feedback or assign a growth focus before returning the assignment for revision.)
- The assignment has now been returned to the student for revision. In the table of assignments, the status of the student’s assignment will be listed as “Needs Revision.”
