Getting Started with Grading in ThinkCERCA
Grading in ThinkCERCA is designed to be fast, flexible, and aligned with the skills students build through close reading and writing. Whether you are reviewing multiple-choice responses or evaluating written arguments, the platform offers clear tools that put you in control of scoring and feedback.
Teachers can easily reset multiple-choice answers, adjust assignment scores, or use our built-in rubric and QuickScore options to provide meaningful evaluation. These tools help you maintain accuracy, support student growth, and align grading with your classroom expectations.
Below is an overview of the key grading actions you can take:
Rubric Score: Grade or Provide Feedback on Writing Lessons
Use the Rubric Score to provide consistent, standards-aligned feedback. In addition to providing input on your students' writing overall, you may include additional, specific comments on each component of the rubric. As in the Quick Score method, you may also assign each student a personal growth focus.
